Kevin Bennett, CEO of Premier
Kevin is a passionate believer that lives, churches and nations are transformed when we draw close to God. He has been with Premier for two decades, leading the way in digital, marketing and technology. As media permeates so much of our waking day, shaping our view of the world, he believes it’s therefore vital to have a strong Christian voice in the media.
Being a part of Premier is a true privilege. Through the people we speak to it provides a front row seat on what God is doing across the UK and the world. Seeing the impact that Premier has in the lives of millions of people, sharing the hope and the truth of the Gospel 24/7, is truly humbling.
I came to Premier two decades ago with the conviction that most Christians are disconnected from their faith for most of the week: life being consumed by work, study, home pressures etc. I believed that Christian media had the unique ability to connect people to God, the church and the practices of faith throughout each day. I was particularly excited by the emergence of digital and all the opportunities it offered to help deepen personal faith.
Seeing the impact that Premier has in the lives of millions of people, sharing the hope and the truth of the Gospel 24/7, is truly humbling.
In the years since, Premier has grown and flourished, now being consumed by audiences in every corner of the globe. As I hoped, digital has enabled a dramatic increase in the range of what Premier can offer along with extending its reach. I’ve also seen the dramatic increase in the impact of Premier’s radio broadcasts, from one medium wave station in London to two national radio stations and one in London and the home counties. There’s so much to give thanks for.

The world has changed much in the last two decades, we’ve seen Christianity challenged and attempts to push it to the margins of public life. Recently we’ve also seen an increasing openness to faith in the nation, especially amongst younger people. This is hugely exciting, and our focus in the years ahead must be to lean into what God is doing and play our part in catalysing renewal in individuals, the church and the nation at large.
Premier exists to help people encounter God through media.
Technology continues to drive change, the emergence of artificial intelligence and advances in robotics are likely to cause significant societal disruption and cause many to question what it means to be human. Christians must be ready to speak hope and truth into this key cultural moment, seizing the opportunity to point a lost world to the love of God.
Premier is remarkable, but all that has been achieved for the gospel over 30-years has only been possible because of the partnership, prayers and generosity of people like you. As we look ahead for all that God has in store for the next 30-years, I am so grateful for your continued partnership on the journey.
